Thank you for your prompt reply to my nosy, but I rather say, inquisitive nature!
I love “traveling” with/through you. Jerry and I look forward to more postings.
Eat good and rest up for tomorrow!!
Love & GOD bless you!
Hi! Beautiful pics, especially the pizza…looks yummy and healthy!
In this frame and the next (with Miranda and Phoenix in the lower right) there are two strings/cables attached between the two buildings in the foreground. One has little “flags” and the other seems to be a cable with what appears to be a “mini blimp” or a “mini ski lift.” However, I’m sure it’s neither, more than likely a traffic or “warning” light? In the pic entitled, “Kandern Main Street 1,” there are several string of “flags;” however, no “blimp or traffic signal. Is this the way they “dress” the “market area” daily or was there a celebration of some kind?
Keep the photos coming!
I would especially welcome photos of the elementary school Phoenix is attending, old & crumbling buildings of any kind as well as any out of the way old cemeteries you might come across. Really, I mean, you may do this in “your spare time” Ha! 🙂
The flags are leftovers from a recent festival, their version of mardi gras. They have these banner/flag things all over the downtown area. In the blumenplatz (effective, the central plaza in town), they even had undergarments on them.
The other item is just a street light/lamp shade, just hanging in the middle of the street.
