ICC Photo of the Day 8 – Impact Awareness and Marriage Stuff

This is one of our papers from the impact awareness exercise. We’ll let you guys figure out who’s it is.

We spent a good deal of time in class this morning discussing topics like language learning philosophy, socio-cultural attitudes, and impact awareness. As part of our impact awareness session, we did an exercise where we wrote our names on the bottom of a piece of paper and then passed it around our group table, allowing each person to write two items about us, then fold it over (to cover those items) and pass it to the next person. The photo above is of one of our papers from this exercise. I’ll let you do the cyphering.

After lunch, all the married folk went to another Wycliffe member’s home to have a mini-marriage-session, where we will be watching a number of videos from Gary Thomas’ Sacred Marriage series. Afterwards, we had about an hour to hang out with each other, talking about our marriage and enjoying each others’ company. As we sat on their back porch, I thought it would be good to make a portrait of my amazing bride, so I did. She’s beautiful.

She was sitting in the late afternoon sun, and it was just gorgeous. As was she. So she got a few photos made. She even cooperated this time.
