The Peacock family is a crazy bunch who have decided to sell pretty much everything, pack up what’s left, and follow God’s call to join the team working to make the Bible available to all people groups in their heart language.  We are excited about taking this next step and seeing God work in and through us.

We are about being able to read God’s word in a language which speaks to the core of your being.

We are about hugs, giggles, kisses, story times, game playing, and spending time together.

We are about exploring and learning.

We are about T-shirts, cargo shorts, and flip-flops (or maybe just bare feet).

We are about bringing a little bit (or a lot) of craziness wherever we go.

We are not about politics, power, status or economics.

We are about Tex-Mex, and burgers, and red lentil curry with naan, and plantains and iced tea.

We are about living as followers of Jesus Christ and learning to love others like He does.

We are not about perfection, but about learning in spite of our faults–through our many mess-ups–and becoming more like Jesus.

We are not about having “it” all together, but about striving to be sincere in our faith and real in our relationships–especially when life gets messy.

And, finally, we’re about selfies on a bus in the middle of Manaus, Brazil, after a week spent on the Amazon. Because that’s how we roll.
