During our time here in North Carolina, our three oldest are spending the mornings with another homeschooling family that lives nearby. One of their assignments this week was to spend some time making photographs of anything outdoors–after they were done with the three Rs, of course.
Today’s post features two photos from each of our older ones. After they shot, we loaded the photos onto the computer and they each helped me select a handful of images to share with you guys.
There are lots of fun things to photograph at the homeschool home. Goats, and trees, and dogs, and chickens, and trampolines, and sticks, and trees, and more. Some of the items were more interesting to the group than others, but Wolverine and Phoenix favored the goat. She was able to get a shot of feeding time.
Cyclops, on the other hand, really loves Chestnut. There is a lot to love, but he described his photo below of Chestnut as the “cutest” one he made. Chestnut, apparently, likes to eat sticks.
The animals aren’t the only fun stuff at the homeschool home–there are things like trees and trampolines as well. Cyclops really enjoyed the leaves and other undergrowth beneath one of the big trees next to the trampoline. Phoenix, on the other hand, thought the view through the net on the trampoline provided interesting framing for the acorns and leaves on the trampoline.
And, finally, Wolverine thought it would be good to close out the day with a photo of his brother’s new Lego-dragon. Because he’s fierce.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the guest-posting by the Peacock kids, as they use the cameras to make sense of what God is doing in our lives here, and how they’re adapting to the changes and new experiences we’re all having here in North Carolina. Please continue to pray for us and for the kids, as God works in us here.
Photography skills obviously run in the family!
